Galway Early Music Festival - TBC
Since its inception in 1996, Galway Early Music has produced
annual festivals which celebrated the culture of Europe from
the 12th to the 18th century in music, dance, costume and
colour. The aim of the festival is to create an audience for
the music and dance of the medieval, renaissance and baroque
periods through concerts and participation in workshops and
masterclasses. The festival also encourages interaction of
professional and amateur musicians and the development of
historically informed performance in Galway and in Ireland
as a whole.

along the Salthill Promenade on the shores of the famous Galway

Galway Film Fleadh - 6th July - 11th July 2010
The
Galway Film Fleadh, a six day international film event held
every July, welcomes a mad diversity of filmmaking from around
the world.The Fleadh is very much a filmmakers' festival, and
attracts directors, actors, cinematographers and artists of
all generations and cultural backgrounds, who present their
work before their peers. The Fleadh’s diverse audience
is made up of the general cinema going public, film buffs, studentfilmmakers,
industry professionals and invited guests.

Western Vintage Motor Rally - TBC
At the conclusion of the 1977 I.V.V.C.C. Autumn Rally in Galway
a few enthusiast motorists, got together with the idea of
forming a vintage motoring club in the West of Ireland.
